Questions About Boxing Training
Review common questions before requesting your first boxing session.
No. Beginner training can start with stance, guard, movement, and basic punches. Share your experience level in the booking form so the session or class can begin at an appropriate point.
Bring comfortable athletic clothing, clean athletic shoes suitable for indoor training, water, hand wraps, boxing gloves if you own them, and any equipment specifically requested when your session is confirmed.
You do not need to buy expensive equipment before a first session. Ask during booking whether gloves or other equipment are available to borrow; RingCenTraining does not guarantee loaner equipment unless availability is confirmed.
The listed first session, group boxing class, and private boxing training options are 60 minutes. Arrive according to the instructions provided with your confirmed session.
Yes. Submit a request with your experience, preferred day and time, and any skill you want to work on. The session is booked only after RingCenTraining confirms the time.
Beginner-focused group training is intended for new participants. Ask which scheduled class fits your experience before attending because participation and space require confirmation.
Training takes place at RingCenTraining, 2900 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11210. Contact the business before arriving because appointments and training times require confirmation.
Email [email protected] or call +1 (718) 951-5320 with your contact details, experience, training interest, and preferred time. The website form is not connected to a delivery endpoint. A session exists only after RingCenTraining confirms availability.
A boxing fitness session may combine a technique warm-up, movement, combinations, heavy bag rounds, and conditioning intervals. The exact format can vary, and no weight-loss or health result is promised.
Choose private training when you want concentrated feedback and an adjustable pace. Choose group training when you prefer a shared class plan and training alongside other participants. Beginners can use either format.
RingCenTraining may accept trainees from age 8 when the format is appropriate. Ages 8–12 can receive youth or beginner instruction in stance, guard, movement, coordination, basic technique, and controlled bag or mitt work; sparring is not advertised for this group. Ages 13–15 may use age-appropriate technique, drills, and conditioning. Ages 16–17 may join appropriate formats based on the session and coach assessment. A parent or legal guardian must complete or approve required registration, consent, and waiver documents for participants under 18. Adults complete their own documentation. There is no arbitrary maximum age, but intensity and format should fit the participant's experience and physical capacity.
Cancel or request rescheduling at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. A later request or no-show may result in the session being treated as used. If RingCenTraining cancels, the client should be offered rescheduling without losing that session.
Payment is made in person at the training location; online payment is not currently offered. Review package terms before purchase. Questions about unused sessions, package changes, or refunds should be discussed with RingCenTraining before purchase or directly with the business. The website does not state package expiration dates or automatic renewal.
Boxing training and conditioning involve physical exertion and inherent risks. Tell the trainer about relevant limitations before a session. If you have a medical condition or injury, are returning from injury, are pregnant, or are uncertain whether vigorous activity is appropriate, consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional before participating. This is not medical advice, and training is not suitable for every person.
